Paul E. Berman, O.D., FAAO. has been serving Bergen County since 1976, offering full scope, state of the art vision care.
\n\nWe are focused on maintaining an atmosphere openness and availability. We welcome all questions and we are always available by phone, email, or in person in order to respond to all of your vision needs.
Dr. Berman specializes in vision therapy for learning related visual problems, ocular discomfort, and performance problems related to reading, computers and sports. All vision therapy programs are individualized and all treatment is one-to-one in order to insure maximum benefit.
An International lecturer and former faculty member of SUNY College of Optometry, Dr. Berman consults for Head Start, pre-school facilities, and professional and Olympic athletic teams.
Matt Esperon, O.D. graduated from the University of California San Diego in 1999 with a degree in Animal Physiology and Neuroscience and then from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 2003 through a US Navy scholarship.
He is experienced in vision therapy, ocular surface disease, and retinal disease through internships at the SUNY University Optometric Center Vision Therapy and Ocular Disease Centers, and through the St. Alban's VA Hospital.
We have many brochures, handouts, and videos on all visual and eye health issues. We intend for our patients to fully understand all aspects of your eye health so that we can help you to maintain a lifetime of healthy eyes.

They had me waiting an hour to be seen by the dr, then after they took the scan that costs more money they asked me which one I wanted. Dr claimed he reviewed the scan with me ( which entails showing me the scan) and he did not do that-…

I like the attention he received during his check up. Once we returned to elect his glasses I had to wait about and hour to be seen. People that were coming out of the exam rooms were seen before me even though I had been there even…
